Peugeot 205 GTI – Full Refurbishment

A proud owner of a Peugeot 205 GTI contacted us to bring his car back to its former glory.

Having been dry stored for 15 years the condition was relatively good however it had looked like it had been through the wars in the past. So, upon delivery we assessed the job ahead, with much deliberation we decided the best way to proceed would be to remove all the original paint and start with a blank canvas.

Once back to the bare metal we used etch primer and epoxy primer to protect the cars panels from exposure to the elements. The epoxy primer consisted of a shine so we could see any imperfections and flaws. Using various different techniques, we were able to rectify these and return its famous body lines. Another trip to the booth for another coat of epoxy and another step closer to the ultimate goal. Given time to cure the primer was all ready to prepare for paint. Many hours of tender loving care the Peugeot was all ready to paint!

On its final trip to the booth time was no object and the pressure was on as this would define all the hard work everyone had put into this project. All the hard work paid off as we rolled the Peugeot back into the workshop the end product was incredible. We were more than pleased with the end result! An ecstatic owner and a proud workforce and another iconic classic 205 GTI is back on the road!

Subaru - Full Respray

We began a full restoration on this Subaru after it was brought to us from a recommendation. The aim………… to bring  it back to its best!

The process began with Stripping down the car, we then spent many hours and a lot of blood, sweat and tears to paint strip the car back to bare metal. It was all ready now for etch primer. We also used epoxy primer to protect the cars panels from exposure to the elements. The epoxy primer consisted of a shine so we could see any imperfections and flaws.

We used many techniques to remove all imperfections, we also had to replace the two rear quarters as the inner wheel arches were rotten. After two new rear quarters it was ready for another trip to the booth for another coat of epoxy primer. After a full ‘rub down’ it was then ready to be masked up again ready for paint.

A flawless paint job made fitting this car back together even more exciting. This long process was well worth it after seeing the fantastic results!

Rolls Royce – Repair

This Rolls Royce was brought to us with a dent in the rear quarter and rear door. After a thorough examination of the car an estimate was sent to the customer.

All happy with the quote the Rolls Royce came in to be repaired. We began the process by removing all fittings to the door and rear quarter. The door proved a bit of struggle as it was so heavy – the double glazed window probably didn’t help!

Once ready the whole area of damage was stripped back to metal. We then used our Speedliner Pro 230 Dent Pulling Station to pull out the dent, the Dent puller made light work of this repair and after removing all other imperfections we were left with flawless results.

Now ready for a trip to the booth     for a coat of  Epoxy primer. Once the primer was cured it was all ready to prepare to paint. Nearly at the final stage the Rolls Royce was once again taken to the booth for the final time. Once finished the team were proud to return the car to the owner – another job well done!
